UV levels rise with the heat

With temperatures rising, so too are UV-Index levels, meaning extra caution against the sun is advised.

UV levels are expected to hit highs of 6 in parts of the UK on Sunday, particularly in southern England, and continue into Monday, where highs of 27°C are expected.

Sunday's highs are forecast to hit the mid-20s, with moderate to high UV levels. You can rely on our app to keep you informed.

This will be a short period of warmer conditions, with UV levels falling back to low levels for most of the country by Tuesday.
