April's full moon, known as the Pink Moon, is set to peak overnight, but may look smaller than your typical full moon.

Peaking at 01:22 am early Saturday morning, the Pink Moon is also a micromoon. Typically, appearing 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than an average supermoon.

The term "micromoon" is used to describe a full moon that occurs near the farthest point in the Moon's orbit around the Earth, known as the apogee.
