Remaining warm for now
Hotter still for some regions

TemperatureRadar for Wednesday 31st July.

Tuesday 30th July was the hottest day of the year so far for the UK, with temperatures reaching 32°C.

The hottest day of the year beat the previous hottest day of the year from the 19th of July by a narrow margin of 0.1°C.

The peak was reached in both Heathrow and Kew Gardens in London, though it looks a few degrees lower on Wednesday 31st for these areas.

Remaining very warm or hot though, as temperatures still look to reach the high-twenties; not quite as high as the low thirties reached the day prior.

However, some more western counties such as Devon, Somerset, Shropshire and across north-west England, may regionally see their hottest day on Wednesday rather than Tuesday. Ireland also looks to be warmer across the board with mid-twenties forecast.

The UK's hottest day title as a whole however, is likely to remain with Tuesday 30th July for now.
