Weather outlook

A widely cold start to the day, with temperatures at or below freezing across Scotland, and parts of central to southern Ireland, northern England, and at higher altitudes of Wales.

Highs reach around 6°C in London as strong, gusting winds impact east and north Scotland.

Some snow showers remain over the same areas of Scotland and across Wales, though it becomes clearer into the evening.
