Bank holiday outlook
Warm day turning gusty in places

Bank holiday Monday brings plenty of sunshine and warmth, with ex-hurricane Erin creeping by, bringing gusting winds to Wales and Scotland.

The strongest gusts will be found across Ireland, around 40 mph (64 km/h) in Galway, as the low-pressure system moves through.

Very warm in England and Wales, impacts from ex-Erin cool things in Ireland and Scotland.

This, with rain and a generally cloudier day compared to the UK, sees slightly cooler highs to start the week compared to the mid- to high-20s across England and Wales.
