Your weather companion
Preparing to drive home for Christmas

driving

Will you be driving home for Christmas next week? Stay aware of any weather surprises that could pop up along your journey with Weather & Radar!

With the Christmas countdown on we're all preparing for our journeys home. Did you know that you could ensure a smoother journey simply by using Weather & Radar on Android Auto?

We can be your weather companion on the road, keeping you up to date as any spells of rain, sleet or snow arrive.

Whatever the weather, the WeatherRadar will display the current satellite and precipitation type, with blue indicating rain, pink snow and salmon freezing rain or ice pellets. Yellow circles represent lightning strikes.

The RainfallRadar, which you can select via the layers icon, will only show you precipitation intensity, both of which are zoomable and will update automatically with your location.

You can also find the TemperatureRadar and WindRadar layers in there too!

All you need is an Android smartphone, a car that supports Android Auto and the latest app version 2023.3.1 downloaded. Once you have that, you're good to go!
