Tuesday sees temperatures starting to rise.

After a brief return to more wintry conditions, temperatures are trending upwards for the week.

By Wednesday, daily highs approach 20 °C in southern Wales and large parts of central England. Things do remain a little cooler in Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland, though still reaching double-digits.

This is thanks to stubborn cloud cover and occassional rain over the two countries.

From Monday, into Tuesday, strong gusting winds remain a factor too. These ease into Tuesday afternoon for England and Wales before gradually falling away in Ireland and Scotland by Wednesday.
