Weather trend
Cool, showery, and windy for many

Atlantic low pressure systems remain dominant throughout the week, with spells of rain, strong winds and some bright interludes as well.

We will keep the rather autumnal weather pattern for the time being, with low pressure systems dominating the picture.

This also means some rather cool temperatures compared with recent days and weeks, with highs often remaining below 20 °C.

If you factor in the sometimes gusty wind, it will feel more like 10 to 15 °C.

Spells of rain or showers, some of them heavy and thundery, will be mixed in with some quieter, drier interludes.

A deeper low pressure system may develop west of us this coming weekend, probably moving across the UK and Ireland around Sunday.

Looking ahead and there seems to be little change to this unsettled pattern.

However, there are some indications that high pressure may at least at times extend into Western Europe, bringing some drier and possibly sunnier days for some.

As always, be sure to check your local forecast regularly to spot trends in temperatures, sunshine, and rain as details may change.
