Weather forecast
Colder air incoming, but when?

High pressure is sticking around overhead bringing settled conditions, but when will the cold air arrive?

Tuesday

A good deal of cloud around today, trapped under the area of high pressure overhead, this bringing the odd light shower, mainly in the east. Across southern England a line of rain is expected to drift from east to west later in the day.

Wednesday

Staying dull and overcast with patchy drizzle or light rain persisting in the east, but also developing across Wales at times too. Ireland staying largely dry.

Thursday

Some localised bright spells to start across southern and eastern portions of England, but the cloud quickly filling in as the day wears on.

Throughout the working week, it will feel chillier than recently under the blanket of cloud, though this will mean most places should remain frost free during the overnights. Where any cloud breaks however, a patchy frost may be possible.

Weekend lookahead

Little change in conditions into the weekend, high pressure remaining stubborn and continuing to deliver broadly settled but cloudy weather.

By the end of the weekend however, a big change looks possible as colder conditions win over with the arrival of northerly winds. This could indeed bring the potential for snow into the new week. Keep an eye out on our app for further updates!
