Video aftermath: flash flooding in Palma

70mm of rain fell within just a few hours in Palma, Mallorca earlier in the week.

The aftermath of the severe thunderstorms and heavy rain, which led to flash flooding across parts of Mallorca, including it's capital Palma, can be seen in the video footage above.

Streets were submerged underwater with many buildings and even the beachfront flooded. Several cars were stranded and swept away too.
