Temperatures to reach mid-20s

Hello high pressure
Temperatures to reach mid-20s

With high pressure overhead the temperatures are on the rise, peaking later in the week.

High pressure across the entirety of the UK and Ireland will deliver widely settled, dry and sunny conditions, and certainly warmer than what we have seen in the previous week.

Milder air will allow temperatures to recover back above the seasonal average, reaching the low to mid twenties each day this week through mid-September.

By the middle and end of the week, temperatures may locally peak around 25°C around Cambridge, but even with parts of northern Scotland seeing temperatures reach 22°C in Fort William.
