The rare summer noctilucent clouds were pictured over Buckinghamshire this weekend, caught by a Weather & Radar user!

Seen here across Aylesbury Vale, these shimmering clouds only appear during a short season between June and August each year.

Consisting of ice crystals, they appear to radiate light once the Sun falls below the horizon out of sight, but still casting rays of lights up to the cloud cover.
