Stretches over 4,000 km
Front from the Azores to Scotland

The frontal system stretches along western Europe.

The calm days are quickly disappearing as a mammoth weather front pushes over the UK, Ireland, and Europe at the end of the week.

On Friday, a rapidly deepening low-pressure area will bring heavy rainfall, and strong winds.

Storm Éowyn was named on Tuesday.

Stormy conditions develop late Thursday evening and throughout Friday.

Despite this, the south-westerly wind also brings milder air, resulting in temperatures rising to low double-digits.
