The week sees more changeable weather, with a large low-pressure system bringing a stormy Tuesday, particularly across Ireland.

Tuesday sees a deepening low to the south-west of Ireland bringing increasingly wet and windy conditions to the area. Gales are possible, and with south-westerly winds coastal flooding is possible combined with spring tides.

The low-pressure system also brings heavy rain, initially from south-western Ireland moving east through the afternoon. With a chance of surface flooding in places, plus debris strewn around by the strong winds, travel may be impacted.

Away from Ireland, westerly areas of the UK will also see stronger winds, though weaker than the gusts of up to 50 mph (80 km/h) seen in Munster.

Otherwise, showers will move through parts of England in the morning with plenty of bright or sunny spells too as temperatures remain unseasonably warm with highs of around 25°C in the south-east.
