Warnings as system sweeps through

Strong gusts grow into Sunday evening.

The weekend turns increasingly blustery into Monday, with an area of low pressure also delivering heavy rain.

Wind warnings for both Sunday and Monday spread across the UK and Ireland, with gusts expected to reach up to 60 mph (97 km/h), and widely around 50 mph (80 km/h) on Monday.

Surface level flooding also looks to be an issue from the system, with heavy rain sweeping through on Sunday.
