Weather & Radar adds new search features

Search box and results
You can now search by post codes with Weather & Radar.

Weather & Radar just came closer to home with our new search features, you can now search by post code and get greater locality in major cities.

We are dedicated to delivering the most accurate information for your local area. So, to make finding the right forecast easier, you can now search by post code across the UK.

Using the first two, three, or four digits of your post code (depending on your area) will display your nearest borough, plus those in London can search by borough directly.

It's simple. For example, if you live in Cambridge, simply use the first half of your post code. CB2 and you will find Trumpington village in your results!

Post codes are also live in London, but if you prefer just search for your area directly, e.g. Islington, do so and we will be there for you.

If you have location services activated, the app will simply geolocate you as usual, delivering the latest forecast curated by our unique set of algorithms, machine learning, and meteorologists for your area.

Once you're located, be sure to check out the full range of options available including the WeatherRadar, WindRadar, RainfallRadar, and LightningRadar plus UV-Index, astronomical, and coastal information.
