The new season is here
Reasons to look forward to spring

It’s the first day of spring tomorrow - meteorologically speaking – and the start of a fantastic season that has a lot to offer. Here are five reasons why spring is something to look forward to.

Firstly, you will really start to notice those longer evenings with an increasing amount of sunshine throughout the entire season. Not only will the sun start to shine for a longer period of time, but temperatures will also gradually start to increase.

If additional daylight hours and sunshine doesn’t put a smile on your face, perhaps the thought of cute new baby animals will? From lambs to chicks to baby bunnies, Spring is full of life.

Spring also brings out new colours to the landscape as flowers really start to bloom in time for the summer. With that spring breeze too, you’ll even get to enjoy the glorious scents of all the plants.

The season also holds an event that a lot of people look forward to - Easter!. That's right a whole weekend of over-indulging in all our favourite chocolates after resisting the temptation for the previous 40 days.

Finally, there are three bank holidays during spring. Two in April to celebrate Easter and then the first Monday of May.

So you see, Spring isn’t too bad after all!
