Overnight snow persists into Tuesday

The first widespread snowfall of the season is expected overnight in Ireland, before spreading across the UK on Tuesday.

Pink on the WeatherRadar can only mean one thing, snow, and lots of it. For much of England this continues into the afternoon before conditions clear into the evening.
