Family-friendly ski holidays

Still looking for a destination for a holiday in the snow? We have collected some family-friendly ski areas across Germany, Austria and Switzerland for you.

Many ski areas offer a wide range of options for little skiers and their parents. If the conditions are right and every family member gets their money's worth, nothing stands in the way of a holiday in the snow being relaxing.

Family-friendly ski areas offer good ski schools with qualified supervision as well as accommodation that is tailored to the needs of families. There should also be a separate beginner area and opportunities for the little ones to play.

The image shows an intense tropical cyclone over the western Pacific, east of Taiwan and the Philippines. The centre of the system is depicted as a light purple and white vortex with a clearly visible eye, surrounded by a ring of red and orange areas indicating the strongest wind speeds. A white arrow marks the typhoon’s predicted track towards the north-west, in the direction of Taiwan. To the west of the storm lie the Philippines, with the cities of Manila and Cebu; to the north of these lies Taiwan, with Taipei.
