Typhoon Mawar in the Philippines

Typhoon Mawar, known locally as Super Typhoon Betty, is currently spiralling away in the Philippines' northern islands. Our meteorologist Tamsin Green is in the country with an update.

Last week, Mawar just missed the US Pacific territory of Guam, and intensified to the equivalent of a Category 5 hurricane whilst travelling towards the Philippines.
