Gusts remain, rain and snow for some

Remaining gusty in across Ireland and much of the UK today, as rain spreads in showers and snow reaches higher altitudes.

Around midday on Monday, gusting winds are still reaching up to 60 mph in south-west England, and up to 50 mph in parts of Ireland, including Cork.

These join spreading rainfall over Ireland and Scotland, which continues into Tuesday more widely across England and Wales.
