Storm Éowyn delivered extreme gales in January.

The year was kickstarted with the arrival of Storm Éowyn, before multiple heatwaves and intriguing sights on our WeatherRadar.

On January 24th, Éowyn arrived as the strongest storm in decades. Devastating parts of Ireland with gusts in excess of 100 mph (161 km/h) on the Emerald Isle and Scotland.
