Hurricane Milton tears roof off stadium

Hurricane Milton has ripped the roof off St Petersburg's Tropicana Field Stadium, as seen in the footage above.

The baseball stadium, home to the Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Rays in St Petersburg, Florida, had its roof torn off amidst Milton's extreme winds.

At the time of Milton's landfall, the stadium was housing workers who had travelled to the area to assist in the aftermath of the storm, though thankfully everyone remained safe.
