Think about sun protection today!

Walking, cycling or a picnic in the park? Temperatures in the mid-twenties this week are attracting many people to the great outdoors.

It is often underestimated how much strength the sun has in May. The UV Index is due to reach 5 to 6 under the sunshine in the coming days, and with the sun being relatively scarce recently, we should take extra caution.

Did you know?

There is a risk of sunburn even when the sky is cloudy. Although slightly less sunlight reaches the ground through the clouds, it is still enough to damage the skin in late spring.

Above a UV index of 3, people with sensitive skin in particular should protect themselves with sun cream and avoid exposing their skin to direct sunlight for too long if possible.
