Thunderstorms breaking out over Wales

Lightning strikes recorded on the LightningRadar.

Thunderstorms which formed in the Bristol Channel have headed north into south Wales on Tuesday afternoon.

The outbreaks developed amid heavy downpours in the area, ahead of strong winds gaining strength overnight into Wednesday morning.
