Heat-health warnings live
Fourth heatwave of the summer

The fourth heatwave of summer is getting started, focused on southern England and Wales, but widespread warmth is expected.

Amber heat-health warnings are active for much of England with all regions under the warning with exceptions of the North East, North West, Yorkshire & Humber, and South West where yellow warnings are live.

With heat, comes higher UV levels, be sure to top up the sun cream and try to avoid the sun at its strongest in the middle of the day.
