Clearer to the east, cloudy to the west

Bonfire forecast
Clearer to the east, cloudy to the west

Wondering if you'll have clear skies for your fireworks, or if it will even stay dry?

Well, you're in luck if you're located across eastern fringes of the UK, with the best chance of clear skies here.

A little chillier under the clear skies though so do wrap up, especially if you plan on being outside for a while later! Temperatures by 7 pm could be as low as 6°C in Edinburgh and 7°C in Norwich. Some mist and fog forming under any clear pockets later too.

Elsewhere however, more extensive cloud is expected, with some patchy light rain or drizzle possible in the west.

More of a damp picture across Ireland though, with this light rain a little more prominent, but a milder picture with temperatures in Cork tending to not fall below 14°C or 15°C most of the night.

So, umbrellas and hooded jackets at the ready for those further west, and layer up if you're in the east and enjoy your fireworks display!
