With wind gusts exceeding 124 mph, it continues to move out to sea.

Tropical Storm Nakri has weakened considerably. However, it continues to move towards Okinawa and Amami-Oshima Island, southwest of Japan's main islands. According to current forecasts, the storm is expected to intensify over the next few days, then veer eastwards towards the open sea.
