Breakfast brief
Warmth continues to spread, showers too

Warmer hues continue to take over the TemperatureRadar.

Overcast beginning to the day, but the warmer air continues to rest over Ireland, and moves deeper into England.

Kickstarting your day

Welcome to the Breakfast Brief, your first forecast for the day and a chance to catch up on what you may have missed.

Weather outlook

Remaining warmer than we have seen in recent weeks, particularly across Ireland, where highs reach the low-teens. Though the warmer air moves deeper into England and Wales too with highs around 11°C in Liverpool and Plymouth.

Despite this, it does remain mostly overcast throughout the day, with rain too in the morning period. Sunshine does break through in places throughout the day on the WeatherRadar.

Some gusting winds across Scotland, but these should not present any issues.
