Remaining showery with sunny spells

The same weather pattern persists again today, with a mix of rainfall and scattered clouds but still remaining warm too.

Welcome to the breakfast brief, offering your first forecast of the day and a peep at weather around the world as captured by our users.

Weather outlook

Much of the more showery conditions are mainly seen in western areas, moving in from the Atlantic moving east. There was a noticeable drop in temperatures for eastern Scotland, back to single digits, earlier, but also warming later.
