A return of heavier rain later today, first for Ireland, followed by the UK.

Warmth persists today, but it's a gloomier outlook, with rain spreading across the country later this afternoon.

Weather outlook

It's still warm but moderate UV levels, but heavier rainfall makes a return later, particularly for Ireland into the afternoon as outbreaks build from the south of the UK towards the evening.
