Heat-health warnings come into effect today, although we are still not near the peak of expected temperatures this week.

Remaining warmest in south-east England, with heat-health warnings from the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency across much of England. Slightly cooler elsewhere, with rain and cloud cover in Ireland and Scotland.
