Breakfast brief: Cooler, gusty end to the week

It's a cooler end to the week, and a gusty one too as strong winds remain in place, bringing weather warnings into effect.

After the last of an overnight band of rain passes, we are left with showers today, snowy over higher ground of west Scotland. Warnings are live for strong winds, and temperatures turn a little cooler.
