Another historic marker
Warmest September on record globally

temp radar

With every month that goes by, there is a new historical milestone. This September is no different and will be recorded as the warmest in history.

As September comes to a close, projections indicate that it will once again smash any previous record ever recorded. This summer has been sweltering in many parts of the northern hemisphere, with temperatures unseasonably high in some countries.

Across much of Europe, the month will also end with a blocking anticyclone, bringing back summer to much of the continent.

In countries such as Spain, France and Germany, temperatures are running well-above normal, with even above-average temperatures across the UK to end September and start October.

This is not unique to this region of the world either, with South America is experiencing a repressive heat wave as their winter ends. In some countries, such as Brazil and Argentina, temperatures have exceeded 40°C, setting new temperature records.

Canada is another country that has suffered from high temperatures and lack of rain in recent months. Fires are raging in its forests, where millions of hectares have already burned, are persisting due to the exceptionally hot weather.

From north to south and from east to west, heat waves know no borders. Unfortunately, this will not be the last time we will be talking about new climatic temperature milestones.
