Across UK & W. Ireland
Gusts prompt low-level warnings

Low-level warnings for wind are active across many parts of the UK, and western areas of Ireland Tuesday.

The strongest gusts will be felt in north-west Wales, with peaks reaching around 55 mph in Bangor, while along the western Irish coastline and the Isle of Man, we see highs of around 45 mph (72 km/h).

These could grow stronger in more exposed, coastal areas but are short-lived and already begin to ease by the afternoon.
