A taste of winter
Short burst of chilly mornings

Winter coat out already? The mornings are on the chillier side at the moment, but we see warmth return for the end of the week.

Wednesday morning was already cool, and Thursday sees temperatures at 08:00 am fall to the low single digits, particularly in Scotland. Glasgow sees just 3°C, and it already falls to freezing in parts of the Highlands.

It's a different story by Friday. A big temperature swing sees a warmer morning across the UK and Ireland by up to 10 degrees in Cork.
