Ahead of stormy weekend
Brief respite from gusting winds

A calmer picture on Thursday evening's WindRadar.

Gusting winds felt throughout the week finally ease across the UK and Ireland Thursday evening for a brief respite.

After gusts of up to 55 mph (89 km/h) earlier in the week, we see a much calmer picture for Thursday night, though only for a short period, as rain continues over Ireland and mostly south-east England.

By Friday morning, there are renewed winds across Wales and England, with gusts in the 30 - 35 mph range ahead of a potentially stormy weekend.

Check back for more details on the weekend outlook on Friday for a full picture, you can also check the WeatherRadar to see how conditions currently look in your area.
