What’s new in 2024:

  • Interactive Radars: Explore the weather around your area more dynamically by panning across the map with our newly interactive radars.
  • Additional Radar Layers: Dive deeper into weather insights with two new radar layers – the TemperatureRadar and WindRadar, providing a more complete weather picture.
  • Weather Alerts while driving: Stay safe and ahead of severe weather with real-time alerts for adverse conditions like heavy rain, severe thunderstorms, and more. (Note: The Android Auto app needs to be open or running in the background.)

In addition to these exciting new features, the WeatherRadar still displays cloud cover, lightning, and precipitation type, while the RainfallRadar offers a detailed view of precipitation intensity.

Both views are zoomable and update automatically with your location. Our full precipitation type key is available inside our mobile app, with colours representing different weather conditions.

Split-screen mode is also available if your car display supports wide resolution, allowing you to see the weather while using your favourite navigation app. Here are additional setting features we added for a more personalised touch to your time on the road:

New customisation options for a personalised experience:

  • Default Radar Setting: Choose your preferred radar layer to be displayed upon starting the app in your vehicle.
  • Map Scaling Options: Adjust the map scale for better visibility, with options for smaller or larger text.
  • Temperature and Wind Unit Adjustments: Tailor the temperature and wind unit displays to your preference (available for Android Automotive only).

And for Apple users, we haven’t forgotten about you – CarPlay integration is still in the works. We’re committed to bringing innovative solutions to all our users.

We have lots of big ideas in store, so keep your eyes peeled and let us know what you think of these new features!

The image shows an intense tropical cyclone over the western Pacific, east of Taiwan and the Philippines. The centre of the system is depicted as a light purple and white vortex with a clearly visible eye, surrounded by a ring of red and orange areas indicating the strongest wind speeds. A white arrow marks the typhoon’s predicted track towards the north-west, in the direction of Taiwan. To the west of the storm lie the Philippines, with the cities of Manila and Cebu; to the north of these lies Taiwan, with Taipei. Further west, the Chinese coast, including Hong Kong, and parts of Vietnam can be seen. The coloured wind map shows predominantly green areas outside the storm’s core, indicating significantly weaker winds. White streamlines illustrate the typhoon’s anti-clockwise circulation in the Northern Hemisphere. The highest wind speeds are concentrated around the eye of the cyclone.
