Over 19 degrees - Warmest day of the year so far

Thursday was officially the warmest day of the year so far, with temperatures surpassing 19 °C for the first time in 2026.

A recording of 19.2 °C in Northolt, London is the new high, arriving just before the return of more gloomy conditions.

It just beats the high of 18.7 °C at Kew Gardens which was recorded a week before.
