-1°C in Spanish capital: Widely warmer morning than Madrid

-1°C in Spanish capital
Widely warmer morning than Madrid

A stark contrast on the TemperatureRadar this morning.

Temperatures in the UK and Ireland surpassed those of Madrid this morning, widely at 10°C and higher, while the Spanish capital chilled at -1°C.

The heat at home continues through the day, resting higher than that of Madrid as warm air stretches across the UK and Ireland, into Western Europe but missing Spain.

Things do balance out later today as the Sun makes an impact, but it's another cold night for the Iberian Peninsula while the warm spell here continues deeper into the week.
