Conditions this weekend remain changeable across Ireland and more northerly parts of the UK.

Gusting winds blow across both days, initially mostly for Ireland and Scotland before spreading further into England and Wales on Sunday.

Despite this, temperatures will return mostly around the average for this time of the year after a warm end to the week but feel cooler in the winds and, particularly on Sunday, as heavier rain spreads again.

The latest band of rain arrives late Saturday night and pushes east through Sunday morning.

Those in the south and east of the UK will enjoy the most sunshine and more pleasant weather until Sunday's rain reaches the area.
